Final Draft

This draft wasn’t a couple of tweaks and elbow grease here and there. There was alot of work that was done to make sure this audio story was better than the rough draft. For starters, I decided it be best to scrap what I had for the rough draft and wrote a different script.

This time, the script told how writing lead to wattpad and how that website gave an unique experience and changed my life. I decided to create the story into two seperate audio files.

Then, I decided it be best to have another voice in this story. I figured this would work since I would have another voice that talked about their experience on wattpad and it would show how a lot of people are online writing wonderful stories and sharing them with hundreds of people.

I scheduled a time and recorded their experience with a simple question. After I got the audio I needed, I listened to what was recorded. The voice of the interviewee was great, definitely would keep the audience entertained. However, there were a couple of pauses, awkward phrasing, and some stuttering. I went with the razor tool and cut away those parts, then patched together the rest of the interview. one part was down, but two more were to go.

The second part was the first half of the story, the part where I introduce myself and my hobby. This time, I recorded myself before going back and cutting away the stuttering and hiccups before moving the file bar before the audio where I gave my one question interview.

The second part was shorter than the former as it was the closer to the story. It didnt take much editing as the other, but I still had to cut away any awkward parts, any fumbled speech. In the end, I think I have created the right story that talked about my online writing experience.
